My Friend, Come Make We Talk…
It has been a while since I had a conversation with you. I know.
Something came to my mind recently, I thought about how my dad often encouraged me to boil yam when I was a teenager.
He prefers that I cut the yam into small pieces, and then boil it.
Lo and behold, when I apply his approach, the yam gets cooked faster.
Yesterday, my wife traveled to check on her parents.
So my kid brother is now in charge of the kitchen.
When he wanted to prepare yam for us, I advised him to cut it into small pieces.
It got cooked faster…
Guess what? My daughter also ate more yams than she would have eaten if the yams were in big pieces on her plate.
This got me thinking for some minutes.
How can we apply this strategy to our lives?
It is simple.
In this new year.
Cut your big goals into pieces, maybe this time, you will achieve better results.
Let’s say you want to become a financial market trader, maybe you want to start with crypto.
You should cut it into pieces
● Go to Google to learn about blockchain
● Start learning about cryptocurrency and the types that exist. You can do it via search engines
● Now, proceed to learn how to own your first crypto
● This will lead you to information about crypto Wallets
● At this stage, you will be more curious to know how you can earn more money with what you own
● Now, you can start learning about WHAT to buy, HOW to buy, and WHEN to buy.
I can continue to break it down into pieces, but I believe that you already understand what it means to break it down.
I used crypto as an example because I am more familiar with it.
Your goal could be different, it could be buying land, starting a new offline business, or getting a Master’s Degree abroad.
Cut it into pieces.
Think about your 3 biggest goals for 2024.

Okay. I got it.
It never crossed your mind that you should cut it into pieces, isn’t it? No wahala.
Now that you are aware, you should give it a try and practice it.
Don’t forget, anything can be cut into pieces, just like the yam that we ate this morning.
